As an awe-inspiring virtuoso performer, over a many-decades-long career, Destiné championed and shared the traditional music and dance of Haiti. Please join us for an evening of performance, archival footage, conversation, and celebratory music to honor the life and legacy of Jean-Léon Destiné.  Presented by the Destiné Centennial Committee in partnership with the Center for Traditional Music and Dance and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
