Afternoon Session: Culture and Creativity

Be adventurous, travel through dance to explore cultures of the world! Focus on cultural dance forms such as: West African Dance, Middle Eastern Dance, American Tap/jazz, and Capoeira. Inspired by aspects of these forms, you will be encouraged to dive into your own creativity as you explore various methods of dance-making. This session will provide the opportunity to encounter multiple dance styles, explore cultural tradition, and practice creativity.
